User Guide · The Notebook

Continue a post and schedule a review.

Add a new step to an existing thought, keep its timeline, and choose to revisit it on a specific date when you want to come back to it later.

Developing a Way of Thinking

Add the rest without deleting what comes before it.

An entry may be updated after it is published. When the entry's status allows it, you can add a new section to it instead of editing the original text.

This continuity makes it possible to later review what you originally wrote, as well as what has been added over time.

Two separate actions
1
Continue a post Add a new entry with a date to a thought that has already been saved.
2
Change Your Status Reopen an entry if you want to extend it.
3
Schedule a review Choose a date when you'd like to come back to this post.

A continuation completes the existing entry. The preceding text remains unchanged.

From «Notebook,» open the entry you want to extend.

2

i
«Cancel» exits the continuation without saving this new section.

If you want to save what you just added, click «Save» before leaving the screen.

Timeline

The New Passage does not replace the old one.

Continuing an entry does not mean rewriting what you had previously submitted.

The original text remains, and the continuation is added afterward with its date stamp.

This allows you to trace the evolution of a thought rather than a final version that would have erased what came before it.

Input Status

The input must be Click to continue.

The «Continue Entry» action is available for an Open entry that is not sealed.

Return to a specific thought

The review date is linked to the entry you selected.

It serves to bring about a return to that particular thought.

Time of Writing

A separate daily reminder

The writing time is a general preference configured under «Me.».

It does not correspond to the date on which a particular entry was reviewed.

i
Notifications are configured separately.

Go to «Me» to manage your preferences for notifications and posting times.

Delete an entry

Delete only if you want to permanently remove it.

An unsealed entry can be deleted from its «…» menu.

This action cannot be undone. Use it only if you really want to remove the entry from your notebook.

Delete

The confirmation is final.

Tap «Delete» and then confirm only if you want to permanently remove the entry.

If you only want to hide «A Thought from Before,» use the cross displayed on this highlighted text.

The check mark does not delete the entry in your notebook.

A thought can change over time.

Continuations allow you to keep track of this progression without overwriting previous entries. Reviewing the entries later allows you to choose when to return to a specific entry.
